Emergency Medical Training Services (EMTS) is an approved Texas Department of State Health Services (TxDSHS) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) education school since the 1980′s. EMTS offers EMS and other specialties of emergency medicine education throughout the north texas region. EMTS’ EMS programs ranks among the top schools in Texas for enrollment numbers as well as pass percentages according to the National Registry of Emergency Technicians (NREMT). EMTS also offers on-site Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) for EMT-Basic (EMT) and paramedic students as well as offering open enrollment public courses.
EMTS is also an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center (TC) providing emergency cardiac care (ECC) programs to north Texas which include, Basic Life Support CPR (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Since becoming an AHA TC in 1995 we have trained thousands of allied healthcare workers in the metroplex.
The main campus is located in Richardson, Texas which is just north of Dallas. The training center offers participants over 4,500 square feet of training space, cafe, and 24/7 building security.
Our goal here at EMTS is for our course participants to successfully complete their chosen program with a feeling of accomplishment and a greater confidence of content material versus the impression of “just receiving” a completion card or certification.
